ChefGilley’s at Treasure Island

Marnie Munoz joined Treasure Island in 2005 as Assistant Chef of the main kitchen and buffet. In 2006, he became Chef Tournant of the hotel and in 2010 was promoted to Executive Room Chef at The Steakhouse. In 2011 he became the Executive Room Chef of Gilley’s.

At the age of 16, Munoz started his culinary career at The Palace Station Casino where he was quickly promoted to Sous Chef. Throughout his time at Stations, Munoz assisted with the opening of the new Station Casinos properties

Munoz opened the Seafood Buffet at the Rio Hotel and Casino as the Assistant Room Chef before becoming the Chef Tournant at the Rio, allowing him to work in all the restaurants at the hotel.

In 1999, Munoz moved to the Desert Inn Resort as the Chef Tournant. He worked at the Portefino and Monte Carlo restaurants where he received extensive training in Italian and French cuisines.

Munoz has been featured on several local morning shows including 8 News Now, Channel 3 News and Las Vegas Magazine.
