With more than 10 years of experience behind him, Chen is passionate about providing new and exciting sushi creations while providing the best service possible to his guests. It was these passions that led him to believe that Rice & Company was the perfect fit for Chen and his culinary abilities.
As the Executive Sushi Chef, Chen oversees the sushi side of the restaurant and strives to use his past experiences to help Rice & Company thrive. Chen has worked under two different master sushi chefs in New York City. They gave him the experience necessary to blend and contrast flavors in unique ways to create an innovative and delicious sushi menu for Rice & Company. This experience will undoubtedly play a large role in Chen’s success as Executive Sushi Chef.
While on the clock, Chen works hard to give his guests the best of his passion and experience. While off the clock, Chen still thrives to give his patrons the best by constantly creating new sushi rolls and dishes. As with most culinary professionals, Chen is a connoisseur of wines and he is always looking for new sake to try.
