President & CEO
Brian W. Burton is the President and CEO of Three Square, Southern Nevada’s only food bank. Burton brings more than 20 years of non-profit industry experience to his post at Three Square Food Bank. He most recently served as Executive Director of the Wilkinson Center in Dallas, TX. His professional expertise includes rapid organizational growth and development, program sustainability, community engagement, public policy work and diversified fundraising. Burton holds a Master of Divinity degree in Education from Southern Seminary, a Master of Business Administration degree from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University.
Chief Development Officer
As the Chief Development Officer of Three Square Food Bank, Michelle and her dynamic team inspire individuals, corporations, foundations and organizations to partner in the fight against hunger. Michelle is directly responsible for raising the annual cash budget for Southern Nevada’s only food bank, enabling continued operational growth until the meal gap in Southern Nevada has been closed. In addition to development and fundraising, Michelle oversees all aspects of marketing, communications and brand awareness. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and has over twenty-five years of experience in business development - nearly a decade of development experience in the banking industry. Prior to joining Three Square, Michelle served as vice president of business development and client relations at Bank of George and Community Bank of Nevada. Michelle is a native Las Vegan and is proud to serve others in the city where both she and her husband were raised, educated, and have raised their two children.
Chief Operating Officer
Larry Scott is Chief Operating Officer of Three Square, a role he assumed in April 2017 after serving as Chief Financial Officer, managing the company’s multi-million budget. Scott is directly responsible for expanding Three Square’s mission of providing wholesome food to hungry people throughout Southern Nevada, increasing the organization’s food procurement and warehousing, as well as assuring the quality of food distributed to agency partners. Scott’s presence at Three Square has significantly elevated workplace culture, as he has been instrumental in the promotion of a positive and productive work environment. Prior to joining Three Square, Scott spent 31 years in the banking industry where he held management and executive positions. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Utah State University and a Master of Business Administration from National University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington.
Chief Financial Officer
As the Chief Financial Officer, Tifani has the direct responsibility of financial reporting and budgeting for Three Square. She also oversees risk management and stewardship over all donor funds for the organization. Tifani spent 13 years in the gaming industry, where she specialized in financial reporting for publicly traded corporations. She earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. She is also a licensed CPA, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Vice President of Strategic Initiatives
Jodi Tyson is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives of Three Square, a role she assumed in February 2018 after serving as government affairs director. Tyson is a trusted voice in advocacy on the local, state and federal levels of government. She plays a central role in implementing federally funded programs, and she works closely with local legislators to address food insecurity in Southern Nevada. Tyson is also an appointed member of the Governor’s Council on Food Security and the Henderson Community Education Advisory Board. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Health from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
