If you've ever looked into the eyes of a hungry child, you know how painful it is. What's even more painful is knowing that there are nearly 110,000 chronically hungry kids right here in Southern Nevada.
As my friend Steven, a Nevada poet says, it disturbs the stars and makes the coyotes frown. Thanks to a generous $10,000 donation from Feeding America, Three Square is able to provide 30,000 healthy meals to local kids in need as part of Red Nose Day, a national awareness campaign. Now that's something we can all smile about—even the coyotes!
