Every dollar donated April 1 - May 31 can provide up to six meals to children in need

LAS VEGAS, April 1, 2024 –Three Square Food Bank continues the fight against hunger with the return of its Bag Childhood Hunger Campaign on Monday, April 1. Donations made through Friday, May 31 will have double the impact, thanks to generous matching sponsors Nevada Gold Mines operated by Barrick, NV Energy Foundation, and Towbin Motorcars.

One in six children in Southern Nevada is living in a food-insecure household. A significant number of families still struggles to put food on their tables, resulting in tens of thousands of Clark County School District students continuing to rely on free or reduced-price meal programs.

LAS VEGAS, March 5, 2024 – Three Square Food Bank, Southern Nevada’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization, will host additional food site distribution locations from March to July, as it continues to be a vital resource for those facing food insecurity.

Pop-up food distributions, supplied by The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP), will be organized as recent reporting reveals Nevada as one of the U.S. states experiencing the highest grocery costs. These distributions, designed to address a growing demand, will take place at the following locations. Walk up and drive-thru service will be available at all sites.

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 26, 2024 – Featuring more than 1,200 companies and thousands of products from around the world, the Specialty Food Association Winter Fancy Food Show ran from January 21-23 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

At the end of the Winter Fancy Food Show, Tuesday, exhibitors donated more than 23,000 pounds of surplus specialty food to Three Square Food Bank, Southern Nevada’s only food bank and largest hunger relief organization, serving four counties–Clark, Lincoln, Esmeralda, and Nye.
