Three Square Launches Farm Fresh, Expanding Access to Fresh Produce Across Southern Nevada

New initiative expands access to fresh produce and nutritious food for Southern Nevadans.

LAS VEGAS, NV (July 7, 2026) – Three Square Food Bank today announced the upcoming launch of Farm Fresh, a major new initiative designed to expand access to fresh, high-quality produce for Southern Nevadans facing food insecurity.

Farm Fresh launches Saturday, July 11, with 12 simultaneous drive-through produce distributions across the Las Vegas Valley, providing thousands of families with free fresh fruits and vegetables.

"Fresh produce consistently ranks among the most requested yet least accessible foods for households experiencing food insecurity, making programs like Farm Fresh more important than ever," said Beth Martino, President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. "Farm Fresh is one of Three Square's largest investments in expanding access to nutritious food. By strengthening partnerships with farmers across the country, we're connecting more neighbors with fresh, healthy food while reducing food waste."

How It Works

Through expanded partnerships with local farms and growers across the country, Farm Fresh creates a more direct pathway for high-quality produce that might otherwise go unused. High-quality surplus fruits and vegetables are rescued and redirected into the community, helping reduce food waste while increasing access to nutritious food for Southern Nevadans.

Three Square has also invested in infrastructure and logistics that extend shelf life while improving delivery to community partners and neighbors, allowing fresh food distribution to reach more neighborhoods across Southern Nevada.

Program Expansion

As part of the initiative, Three Square will host regular drive-through produce distributions strategically located throughout Southern Nevada to maximize accessibility. Through Farm Fresh, the food bank expects to double the amount of rescued food distributed to the community, increasing from 20 million pounds to 40 million pounds annually. More than 10 million pounds of that total will be fresh produce, expanding access to nutritious food while substantially reducing food waste year-round.
