2016 is poised to be a hearty year for 34 year-old renowned chef Brian Howard. His restless nature and tradition shattering style have now spawned his highly anticipated new restaurant Sparrow + Wolf, as he takes his craft off the Las Vegas Strip and into the neighboring Arts District community this fall.
Howard spent the past 14 years honing his skills in everything from classical French, modern cooking, Southeast Asia dishes and New American cuisine. Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Howard showcased his talents and oversaw the Mobil Four star and Michelin starred kitchens of Las Vegas, and Los Angeles with acclaimed chefs Andre Soltner, Thomas Keller, Kerry Simon, Andre Rochat and most recently David Myers.
Howard has earned countless accolades and praise for his cooking. He has been honored for his skills at the Legendary James Beard House. He has also been featured in publications such as Food & Wine, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, New York Post, Playboy Magazine, Saveur and Men’s Health. Catching the eyes of national television producers, Howard has served as guest judge on the FOX program, “Master Chef Junior” and Food Network’s, “Chopped.” He also won the competition on FYI Network’s “Late Night Chef Fight.”
