Three Square Food Bank helping Nevadans losing extra SNAP benefits

LAS VEGAS, MARCH 14, 2023 — Director of Advocacy & Research at Three Square, Regis Whaley, spoke with KSNV News 3 about the end of SNAP emergency allotments and what Three Square is doing to help those impacted.

The temporary benefits were intended to ensure food access during the pandemic. While the emergency allotments are going away, SNAP isn’t.

Neighbors needing food assistance and not enrolled in SNAP are encouraged to apply. Our team at the Three Square Center can provide help signing up for SNAP and other programs. For details, call the Three Square Center at 702-765-4030.
