Each dollar given April 1 to May 31 can provide up to six meals for children facing hunger
LAS VEGAS (April 1, 2026) – Three Square Food Bank today launched its annual Bag Childhood Hunger Campaign, a community initiative running through May 31 to help provide food to children facing hunger across Southern Nevada. Donations now through May 31 may be matched by generous sponsors, helping each dollar go even further.
“Too many kids in Southern Nevada still don’t have reliable access to food,” said Beth Martino, President and CEO of Three Square Food Bank. “Bag Childhood Hunger is one way our community can take steps to make sure children have the food they need to learn and grow. When people give during this campaign, it directly helps us get meals to kids who need them most.”
Across Southern Nevada, the need remains significant. One in five children may not know where their next meal will come from.
Community Partners
The campaign is made possible by the support of the NV Energy Foundation, Delta Air Lines, Jill and Frank Fertitta III, Teresa and Lorenzo Fertitta, and The Terrance K. and Elizabeth L. Barry Foundation.
Community Impact
Every dollar donated during the campaign may be matched by participating sponsors, providing up to six meals for children facing hunger. Funds raised through the Bag Childhood Hunger campaign support programs such as Kids Cafe, BackPack for Kids, and Meet Up and Eat Up, which provide meals to children throughout the school year and summer months.
